West Texas FC Announces new Head Coach for 2024

News crews were on -site at Tall City Brewing on February 23 to see and welcome West Texas FC’s new Head Coach. David Ormiston, flying in from St. Petersburg, Florida brings with him a heavy armory of coaching experience and success at both semi-professional and collegiate levels. David fielded questions regarding his coaching style, his recruitment strategy, and his excitement for the upcoming season. It is his shared values with ownership that attracted him to the club. David is striving to help build and expand ties between the team and the community and values the partnership that is created between the two parties. Having coached at St. Mary’s program in San Antonio (Lonestar Conference Champions in 2022), David also brought leadership and success to Brazos Valley Calvary FC, turning the club around in just one season to take the lead in the conference as Champions (2022).
